Music Ministry

Worship is a supernatural experience, as it enjoins the believer into a personal encounter with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit guides us into God’s presence, and takes His abode in our worship

                          John 4:23-24; I Peter 1:2; Jude 1:20; John 14:6

The Son gives us access to Father as our advocate

                          I John 2:1; Romans 8:34; John 17:26; Ephesians 2:18, 5:19-20

The Father is the target and recipient of our worship

                          Ephesians 5:19-20; Exodus 20:3, 34:14

Worship does not only occur during our Sunday Morning Praise, however, that is one of the few times we can all join together as one voice in

Praise and Worship of our Heavenly Father and in thanks for His multitude of gifts, foremost is the gift of salvation.

The Music Ministry of First Baptist church seeks to offer many opportunities for individuals to share their personal gifts as related to music.

We have choirs for all ages from Preschool to senior adults.

We have seasonal presentations that often include drama or narrative readings.

We have a handbell choir that shares in church and around the community.

We invite anyone with a musical gift to share it with our congregation.
